At 160, I favor Kelly slightly. Above 160, I favor Kelly much more.

I would love to see this fight.

I still am not getting where everyone thinks that Winky is done. He looked bad against Hopkins, 10 pounds above his highest weight he has ever fought at.

Is Joe Calzaghe done because he looked bad against Hopkins?
Antonio Tarver looked pretty bad against Hopkins, but he isn't done, now is he?
      Agreed.

      Winky will be fine.

I don't think Winky will take a bad beating or get stopped with his D, If Pavlik wins it would be by UD

Really... Pavlik throws 1-2s just like Taylor did for the most part, and that didn't look like a terrible styles matchup.

I STILL can't see what HBO is talking about when they say that Taylor was landing all night through Winky's guard.

Winky landed more, but then again, Pavlik doesn't keep his hands as low as Taylor

Good point, and Kelly's workrate is MUCH better.

I still think Winky COULD have a festival countering Pavlik when he throws (which is so much). The solvency to workrate is counterpunching, and I think Winky can limit Pavlik's with his countering skills. If he can do that, I think he wins.

                  Taylor doesnt do that anymore.

But the point im making is, you will NEVER EVER EVER see Pavlik have his back to the ropes against Wright. He doesnt fight like that.

Wright cannot fight going backwards. In Fact, i dont think i've ever even seen him try.

Pavlik is bigger and stronger, and his pressure is much more relentless. I think we can all agree that this fight will be waged center ring and will be an "in-fight"

Wright can't do much on the inside but jab 1-2. Pavlik would just be able to whale away on Wright without worrying about getting nailed in return because Wright isnt a power puncher AND Pavlik has a sturdy chin.

Pavlik has a great left hook/uppercut to the body that he rarely uses. That would be his money punch against Wright.

I think if only one guy could stop Wright, that guy would be Pavlik. Terrible terrible styles matchup for Wright, and a perfect fight for Pavlik to be given at this stage of his career. A fight he would probably win, against a name in the sport, and in a fight that would be undoubtedly crowd pleasing.

I thought he looked pretty good just Taylor stepped it up and fought a good fight.

Taylor is a much better fighter than given credit for by many.
