    Right before the bell. Damn!

For those who never seen it.

That **** looked scary. I thought Barrios lost control of his legs when that first happened lol.

Freitas hit him so hard he had him doing the thriller dance...

I think that's Barrios in the back.

Sounds like the bell rang before the punch landed...

I remember seeing that.. Barrios did the crab dance and fell.. he had Frietas hurt too, that's what happens when you get too carried away though.

I've always liked Freitas, especially when he still had heart before he realized that he didn't need this anymore. Great punch, and I've always went back to this fight as proof that he ONCE did have heart.

He's lost to Corrales and Juan Diaz.. One of the most explosive punchers p4p, and one of the better volume punchers, PERIOD. And all of a sudden, he's the biggest quitter this side of Zeneloff. Never got that.

Fully agree with you. He realized that he had a great carreer and was a huge superstar (in brazil at least) and just decided he didn't need to fight anymore. I'd still like to see one final fight though.

Yeah, I remember that. It was a WAR, no one ever talks about it now. If you contrast that fight with Freitas' quitting against Corrales it's just insane. After having watched that fight back in 03 I'd have defied anyone to say Popo would quit in a boxing ring.
