The way I see it that was a good stoppage. He would of had the knock out because Thompson was clearly out. This fight showed exactly what everyone already knew. Kimbo is an average fighter in mma who right now can't hang with top level fighters. But he did what he gets paid to do and thats entertain people who just want to watch hard punches regardless of the skill level involved.Comment

That ear gave me flashbacks of Margarito/Lujan...
But yeah, Kimbo flopped tonight...however
it was Free...and in a couple of months, Kimbo will be back main-eventing...For Free
UFC will put cards with star names on Spike TV...For Free
Boxing?...fans have to wait hours till college lacrosse, women's softball, mlb, soccer, nascar, etc finishes
**** the PPV, Gas is too high to put $50 on a whim...you never know how ANY fight is gonna turn out, no matter how it's billed, that's for DAMN sure
But yeah, Kimbo flopped like 2k PrizeFighterComment

I never seen an ear explode in my life, so I don't know the medical problems that can come with that and if it was a good stoppage or not. But what I learned from this fight is what I already knew - kimbo is an overrated fighter that has little MMA skills and his popularity is based solely on his intimidating looks.
I think america has been looking for and wanting the next Mike Tyson so badly, and Kimbo fits the appeal as far as intimidation/psychoness goes. Everyone wants him to be good, but unfortunately for them I just don't think he is. He'll lose against solid opposition. Keep lookin americaComment
