Actually Thompson doesn't have a reputation of having a good chin. This makes Kimbo look very overrated and overhyped. Kimbo has no real experience as a boxer and was never a martial artist. It looks like his cash cow has dried up.

He got very lucky indeed, horrible stoppage, Thompson had a good chin and took all of his punches

The way I see it that was a good stoppage. He would of had the knock out because Thompson was clearly out. This fight showed exactly what everyone already knew. Kimbo is an average fighter in mma who right now can't hang with top level fighters. But he did what he gets paid to do and thats entertain people who just want to watch hard punches regardless of the skill level involved.

Looked to me like Thompson was pretty much "out on his feet" Thompson has never had a strong chin and Kimbo couldnt put him down as easy as the huggers though he would. It was free so I can't complain.

I thought the stoppage was OK IMO. His ear was ****ed up and he looked stunned from those shots he took from Kimbo.. IMO, if the fight would've went much longer, Thompson would've been KO'd.

I never seen an ear explode in my life, so I don't know the medical problems that can come with that and if it was a good stoppage or not. But what I learned from this fight is what I already knew - kimbo is an overrated fighter that has little MMA skills and his popularity is based solely on his intimidating looks.

I think america has been looking for and wanting the next Mike Tyson so badly, and Kimbo fits the appeal as far as intimidation/psychoness goes. Everyone wants him to be good, but unfortunately for them I just don't think he is. He'll lose against solid opposition. Keep lookin america
