Sidorenko vs. Moreno, *****ko vs. Sprott, and Alexeev vs. Azille

There's very good fight card in Germany today:

    Taras *****ko vs. Michael Sprott
Wladimir Sidorenko vs. his mandatory, Anselmo Moreno
    Alexander Alexeev vs. Louis Azille

*****ko, age 28, faces a tough test in Sprott, age 33, who KOed Audley Harrison last year.

Sidorenko (21-0, age 31) faces an opponent who has a huge reach and height advantage. Moreno (21-1, age 22) has only one loss, a very close and controversial decision. Many think Moreno will take the WBA Bantamweight title from Sidorenko today.

Alexeev is one of the best young cruiserweights. He is so far undefeated as a pro, and had a close decision loss at the 2004 Olympics (24-21 points) to Odlanier Solis. In other words, he did better against Solis than David Haye.

I'm gonna see it. I look forward to Alexeev who's regarded as a top-prospect by Graham Houston. How will he look fighting the crafty Azille? It should be good.

No official stream for this card I'm afraid as it's on ZDF.

Sometimes boxrec and ********* are sometimes a bit slow to report European fights, so will you post the results of these three fights here for us, Bat?

No problem Tunney. Can't you find any 'unofficial' stream? It's so much fun watching the fights with all you guys.

BoxRec just reported Taras *****ko defeated Michael Sprott by UD (97-93, 97-93, and 97-94).

                Nice win for Taras!

Sidorenko lost so that makes Panamanian champs at 118 and 122 in Moreno and Caballero.

Anselmo Moreno is off to a great start in his career - he's one of the youngest world titleholders at age 22!
