Why Don't the Brits have a Lockett Bandwagon Already?

This guy is your typical British bum taking the first step up in his career after 30+ fights. His resume is similar to Hatton's when he finally stepped up to world class competition after 40 fights, meaning he hasn't beat anyone in the top 50 yet. Where's the typical British bandwagon that follows fighters who make a career out of knocking out bums?

    • You have never seen your own ****
    • Your family doesn't love you
    • You have multiple terminal diseases you just don't know it yet
    • You cry at night because you hate everything
    • You never had a girlfriend
    • The world hates you too

    You is a failure, Son.

Although sad this is true. Joe Calzaghe, Abraham, Hatton and now Lockett are all perfect examples of this.

I hate to say it but I kinda agree with the guy. For the most part most UK fighters are protected and fight lesser talent. They also have some shady judges but not as bad as some other countries. UK fighters (the good ones) should really consider stepping up their game early in their career to prepare them for the big fights. I dont have a problem with people making money but he does kinda make a point.

The only person that has done that in the UK was David Haye and Naz to a lesser degree..Thats why Haye is the ring belt Champ at cruseiweight with only 22 fights under his belt..Rather than having fight NO one with a record of 45-0, I agree with the thread starter. The promoters here knows how to fool us boxing fans. Does anybody remember Micheal Jenning? He was Antonio Margarito's Mandatory back in 2005 to 2006 at 147 but Warren never even thought of risking him or actually pursuing the fight.

There are too many examples of that in the UK.

So why does Calzaghe have so many blind nuthuggers after losing to Reid?
