This happens allot in Europe, i know because i live here. That's why i have trouble liking fighters with "impressive" records like Calzaghe, Hatton and Abraham as fighters. I've seen this kinda **** happen on many degrees of gravity many many times. When you have a fighter who's fought in Europe like 40 times with an undefeated record, isn't safe to say he's had at least a couple of these?

That's ******, you should be mad at the OFFICIALS not at the fighters!!!
Calzaghe, Hatton and Abraham just fight, the rest is up to the OFFICIALS!!!

There were some shady things like this going on in the Brewster-Krasniqi fight in Germany too.

Big props to Danny though for staying cool and winning the fight in these circumstances

Joe Calzaghe has fought 43 times in europe, winning all 43. The only fight that was even close enough to call a robbery was against Robin Reid, but funnily enough it was in Reids backyard, not Joe's.

Hatton has never really received a gift either, not in Europe anyway.

TBH, the way you talk about it, I doubt you live in Europe at all. Sound just like a typical uneducated yank to me..."Eurobums always get dodgy decisions, they can't beat an American"

              Go **** yourself, ****.

Good post. I agree with you 100%, even though I'm an American.

Officiating is no better or worse in any one country or another. There are robberies and biased refs everywhere.

I just wish all of us here on this side of the Atlantic could be better sports, and stop the whining and complaining about unfair decisions and refereeing overseas.

Both times he deducted points he took off two. He gave Williams two standing eight counts (which probably hurt Airich as it robbed him of his momentum), he allowed Airich to take a longer rest than ten seconds after he was dropped, he allowed the debacle of the promoter ringing the bell, he warned Williams for holding when he was throwing punches with both hands. The whole thing stunk.

By the way, anyone who claims to be European or who claims to live in Europe is full of ****. You don't live in "Europe". You live in France or Germany or Belgium or Holland or Sweden or Spain or Italy... Europe is a geographical and political entity, not a national one. Hey how many people cheer for "Europe" in the world cup? ****in noone.

The ref in the Airich vs. Williams fight seemed to be incompetent, not crooked.
