The only thing that sucks about Mayweather's inactivity...

is that he ruining any chance boxing had of breaking through into the mainstream again. He, more than any other fighter (including De La Hoya), can bring fans into their seats to watch him fight Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Pacman, etc. Mayweather is boxing's biggest star, and he is the only chance boxing has to hold off Kimbo and MMA and all that other bull****.

Do you really live in Wales? If that's the case, I don't think you are fit to answer a post about boxing and mainstream U.S.A.

so what you are saying is that Mayweather is the only fighter that can help Boxing's profile in the mainstream right now by getting in the ring with a competitive fighter instead of fighters that have lesser chances of beating him such as fighters that he already beat creating entertaining fights that casual fans are satisfied with to the point where they won't compare Boxing to MMA as far as "excitement"?

        hmmmmmmmmmmm

Your right about that and I agree. But be patient Mayweather ain't gonna go and fight no-namers cuz then people will talk ****. Wait untill we find out who winner of Cotto and Margarito is gonna be and also wait untill Paul Wlliams and Quintana trilogy is done with cuz I see Paul winning the 2nd fight

Inactivity and the fact he wont fight any of the welterweights.
He wont fight his mandatory also, hes after the money fights not his legacy.

Leave him too it, he can spout all the **** he wants about being the best, but imo hes no where near.

Even if Mayweather fought De La Hoya and Hatton right now again, it would help boxing in mainstream U.S.A. The thing that sucks is instead of fighting, he is waiting, and while he waits, any chance of boxing breaking through is ending.

This isn't about Mayweather's legacy or his ego, this is about Mayweather being the only boxer in the world that can bring boxing back to mainstream in America.

I don't wana see him fight those 2 again. I ain't gonna give Mayweather any credit for defeating those 2 I'd like Mayweather to fight winner of Cotto vs Margarito and then Paul Williams if Paul wins the rematch
