Excellent fight, one of my favorite Cotto fights. Cotto showed some major heart and guts and got the win, Torres threw some nasty leather at Cotto and he was THIS close to KOying his ass. The only thing that pissed me off were the constant low blows from Cotto, I know he was trying to survive but give me a break, the second KD on Torres was a clear low blow to the junk, and Torres being the man that he is didn't complain about it got up and fought like a Honorary Mexican True Colombian Warrior.

and people say lowblotto shotto doesnt go low...good fight but cotto was hurt badly, margarito will finish the job and end the hype.

its the heart you put in that can captivate the fans and win them over.


You can't really say theres a loser in a fight like that...because either way you have to respect both of them and know that it really could have went either way with all the knockdowns and as many times as each guy was hurt.

It was mostly the speed that was bothering Cotto after he set his feet. Margarito isnt going to be bringing that kind of speed. I dont think he'll be too troubled by Margarito. But if Mayweather's hands are healthy Money is gonna eat Cotto for breakfast.

i was going bonkers for during this fight. torres is the kind of fighter i will pay to watch.
he should be on the undercard of a big fight.
