    Rocky Juarez vs Jorge Barrios

Was due to be on the under card of Mosley vs Judah ... Will the fight still happen? I was looking forward too it ... I will always follow Juarez he has the P4P biggest balls in boxing Hes never even heard of a tune up fight.

I'm afraid that Juarez's attitude is leading him down the route of becoming a gatekeeper kind of guy. He needs to work on some things before continually jumping in to big fights.

I know what you mean completely, But its hard not to respect ... He took the hardest rout to his dreams and fought his heart out, Successful or not, I respect him so much for it.

You think he will ever be champion?

Well, I'm picking him over Barrios. And I think that with some work, he could definitely win a belt. But not with this breakneck pace. If he gets handled a little better, he could find some success. I think people forget just how damn hard he hits- mainly because he's been fighting defensive masterminds who don't let him put it on display.. But a guy with power always has a chance.

Yeh his power is insane for his size, He hits like a welterweight.

I would take him over barrios too, which would be BIG for him, After that he should take a couple of fights leading up to a rematch with Soto ... Kevin Mitchell should be in the picture too.

Soto is a good move, definitely.

I kept forgetting to post about this fight. I think Juarez will shine in this though, Barrios is so wide and wild that I think we're finally gonna see another big KO from Juarez.

As far as I know this fight hasn't been rescheduled.

                    ROCKY ROAD

In addition to the fight between Shane Mosley and Zab Judah being scratched due to severe lacerations on Judah's arm, all the other fights on that pay-per-view card that was scheduled to take place on May 31st were also postponed.

Jr. lightweight Rocky Juarez was to have faced Jorge Barrios on that card. He tells Maxboxing that the Barrios bout could possibly end up on the proposed September 13th date that might feature Juan Diaz taking on Joel Casamayor in Houston, Texas.

But he doesn't want to wait nearly that long to get back into the ring.

"I'm hoping to get something sooner than that, but I'm not sure," he said. "I talked to my manager (Shelly Finkel) and he said that they're going to work on getting me a fight before then. I'm hoping to get a fight in late June or July."

Juarez's preference is to go right back into the Barrios fight.
