For all the remarkable skill and style of Z “The Dream” Gorres and his heartbreaking split decision loss in a WBO super flyweight title fight against Mexico’s Fernando Montiel in what was clearly a terrible decision, the flashy southpaw is in a must-win situation when he battles dangerous Nick Otieno at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on Saturday. The author of this story is clearly on crack. The Montiel decision was not "clearly a terrible decision." It was a close fight in Gores' country and he lost. Get over it. This author also calls Gores' latest opponent "dangerous." I guess if you mean he's a fighter who has beaten exactly one fighter ranked in the top 100 in his division, then he's right. Dude sounds like a publicist for Gores. Save the bull**** for the p.r. wire -
tell me about it... Ronnie is a dumbass, all he does is write about phillipino bums and their fake ass prospects that get baby fed..Comment

you got to admit that ronnie is funnnyyyyy.....i think he writes those article just to anger people because those fighter aren't even prospects...their pure bums...i know that he is just writing BS ...the problem for him is that he is viewed as such a ****** that no one cares anymore what he writes....it's more of a joke than an articleComment

gorres must win this fight to erase the shameful draw he got from darchinyan. i don't think the judges in that fight were in their right mind. gorres clearly lost that fight. he was just too lucky the fight was held in the philippines. but boxing writers like ronnie did not condemn the poor judging. i know that bias officiating and judging happens anywhere in the world. it happens even in las vegas. but boxing reporters like ronnie who is a filipino must have written something to contradict the decision of the judges so that boxing fans around the world would know that filipinos condemn blind judges, unless ronnie himself is convinced that gorres won that fight, and i will say that he too is blind.
i hope gorres and jorge arce meet in the future because these boxers benefited from the decision of blind judges. arce clearly lost to lookmahanak but... the blind judges do their thing again.Comment
