Light Heavyweight is not bad either... Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, Antonio Tarver, Roy Jones Jr, Chad Dawson, Glen Johnson, Clinton Woods, Zsolt Eirdei and a few others.

Light Heavy started out in this comparison but ultimately got bumped because it's so damn old. Middleweight, at the top at least, has more prime talent.

That seems to be the unanimous answer these days when anyone asks about the best division in Boxing. It’s a powerful argument. Is it the truth? After all, with seventeen weight divisions, there’s plenty of talent to go around and divisions are more than just the names at the top. Looking top to bottom, there are a few divisions that give Welterweight a run for its money. [details]
lightweight is the best division right now... you got campbell, casamayor, juan diaz, katsidis, pacquiao, JMM, Mab, Khan.

at welterweight there's only Floyd and Cotto.

at middleweight there's only Pavlik (should Abraham lose to Miranda)

at jr. bantam there's only mijares and montiel.

Pull: I disagree. There's more than that at each and Pac/JMM have yet to even win at 35 yet. No telling if, given their wear, they will turly stand out there.

It is close between 147 and 135 the top of 147 far outshines 135 though, but as a whole i feel that 135 could offer more great fights in terms of volume.
