Id pick Mosley over Norris, but tall fighters definetly give Mosley trouble, as do fighters with good jabs.

Id pick Mosley over a lot of great 135 pounders. But like i said earlier, i think a prime chavez would take a decision against him

obviously. But look at James Toney. When James toney was fighting at heavyweight, he was shot to bits. BUT, he was so good technically and such an all around amazing talent, that he was still able to compete at a very high level.

Once Meldrick Taylors reflexes went, so did Meldrick Taylor

Mosley is over rated at lightweight. He was very good, i wouldn't call him great. He could give a lot of boxers trouble doesn't mean he'll win. I didn't think much of Mosley as a lightweight i found him more entertaining as a welterweight. Mosley that i recall didn't beat any lightweight of note.

Sparring don't mean crap, but I like Mosley's chances of outworking JCC to a decision.

I wonder what the date was of that sparring exhibition. that sort of looked like the Chavez that fought Tsyzu, or around that time. looked a little heavy and slow in the video.

its a shame it only went two rounds. Chavez would generally do nothing in the first two rounds, and end up taking over the fight around the 5th round or so. at least him at 140. but it really wouldnt be sparring if it was more than 2 rounds I guess, lol.

When you move up from lightweight to welterweight to defeat the #1 p4p fighter on the planet... u ain't overrated.

                  Mosley at lightweight was awe-inspiring.

The Mosley of now is very methodical in a way, and resorts to the same tactic over and over sometimes. And he clinches a lot as well.

                  A prime Mosley was special

very interesting. How would a prime Mosley do against a prime JCC???

I think he would do pretty damn well

At the beginning and at about the 1:40 mark of this video one of the announcers says "This is Chavez third sparring partner a black guy".
Chavez was sparring two guys before Mosley so obviously Mosley is gonna look fresher.

I actually think that Mosley at 135 was a pretty outstanding fighter.

Wins over Phillip Holiday, John John Molina and Leija are pretty good if you ask me. but most of his praise at 135 comes from the way he more or less dominated everyone at that weight.

nice job, I didnt pick that up while I was watching

I still wonder what the date was for this exhibition
