It was a classic Boxer vs Puncher and I really, really enjoyed it. Watching it the first time I thought Dawson won by 1 or two rounds and I hadn't re watched it until earlier today.

This is what you have to look out for in this fight... While Dawson clearly threw more punches you will notice he was landing on Johnson's gloves most of the time and Johnson pushed the fight to Chad and landed the biggest punches. This fight was one of the hardest fights I've ever scored but I did my best and this is what I come up with.

        Chad Dawson vs Glen Johnson

        R1: 10-9
        R2: 10-9
        R3:9-10
        R4: 10-9
        R5: 9-10
        R6: 10-9
        R7: 10-9
        R8: 10-10
        R9: 9-10
        R10: 9-10 (8-10 possible for wobble)
        R11: 9-10
        R12: 10-10

        TOTAL: 115 - 115

5 rounds to 5 with 2 rounds even.

It looked as if Chad tired in the championship rounds and never really recovered from that right hand in round 10. The fight over all was a tale of two halves, Dawson dominated the majority of the first half while Johnson came on strong at the end, the wobble in round 10 was not enough for Johnson to get a 10-8 round IMO because it was towards the end of the round which Dawson was doing quite well in.

I believe Chad will go on to have a very successful career and at 25 I think he has a lot of time to do this. It can be noted that Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik is 26 but with Kelly's style he will not be around for much longer while Dawson wont get into many more wars like this one.

BRING ON CHAD DAWSON VS GLEN JOHNSON 2!
This post proves how little you know about the sport, which makes me smile.

        1. Nobody scores rounds even unless they're from Europe
        2. You don't get 10-8 for a wobble
        3. Vazquez-Marquez III and Casamayor-Katsidis were worlds better than this fight

I know you've only been following the sport since about November or so, but we can work through this.

I said It's unlikely it would be 10-8 but it's a controversial point brought up by people, will you please read next time?

In response to boxing_prospect, I vote willy nilly in polls, don't take it badly because no, I don't know you.

The bet is just laughable Seeing as he didn't pay me in 1 month or more for our Hopkins fight claiming he didn't have any money, you really think I'd take a bet on Lazcano over Hatton for 50k with him?

          He's just a ****

rewatched the right on youtube. I had Dawson winning 115-113, it was a close fight but I thought Dawson won. Clinton Woods had three close fights with Johnson and hardly anybody complained about those decisions, especially their last fight. Their was a LOT of close rounds that could of went either way, but Dawson was scoring with the body work and the left hand, and that's what I thought won him the fight. Although I can understand if it was a draw (imo that would of been the right decision). Even Floyd Mayweather Sr. said the fight should of been draw and so many others.
