The point was that all these people who claim Joe lost to Reid don't even know who Reid is and wouldn't be able to recognise him.

Most people on here have only heard of Reid because he lost to Lacy.

i was wondering when another delusional nitwit would bring hopkins into the thread...

someone who claims to be a boxing guru yet thinks joe lost to the ex con is clearly either mentally deficient,blinder than harry greb or bernards *****!!!


the reid fight was contoversial the hopkins fight wasnt,and u call this thread a joke,well i see two:


first: Mike Tyson has agreed to fight Prince Charles for his next boxing match.

It seems that no one else has big enough ears to go 12 rounds


second:is of how shall we say,the canine variety.

I was merely proving that these same people are spewing nothing but blind hate because they don't even recognise Reid, and therefore did not see the fight.

Calzaghe put his performance to Robin Ried down to damaging his hand early on in the fight and having suffered from food poisoning beforehand.

Not too sure how much of that is true, but i guess we'll never know?

His hand was damaged before the fight, and because of this he did ZERO sparring. He thought he could get away with it, but when his hand went again early in the fight, he knew he was in trouble and did very well just to keep it close.

Don't know anything about the poisoning though....

Everyone has their opinion. I had it 114-113 for Hopkins as did the majority of the writers at ringside.
