I'd ask that you now try to prove that theory using the scientific method, oh, and show me your PhD.
Parkinson's is caused by your brain producing less dopamine and is generally believed to be either genetically inherited or through inhalation or contact w/ certain types of chemicals. While it is unknown of the exact cause, the safe bet is millions of people who suffer from it didn't get hit in the head a lot.Comment

Never said it could be proved. That is why it is a theory.I'd ask that you now try to prove that theory using the scientific method, oh, and show me your PhD.

Norton's brain injury is the result of a car crash. We ought to think about it when we full of joy and the adrenaline flowing, that these guys who go to ring wars often pays a hefty price.
Think of the Ali-era. Fighters off the top of my head, who has boxing-related braininjuries: Ali, Frazier, Norton, Patterson and probably more.Comment

1: Ali himself says that his condition is caused by punches to the head. He should know with all the doctors he's been seeing.
2: Ali does not have Parkinsons disease but Parkinsons syndrome. I don't know the difference but I do know that there IS a difference.Comment

To be honest it's the first I've ever heard of that. In terms of him having syndrome, as I've just always heard people refer to or read Ali as having Parkinson's and I never gave it much thought... although that does make a lot more sense as there are other thing that give "like" symptoms. Why don't you show yours? Parkinson's is caused by death of brain cells in the Substantia Nigra. Coincidently, getting hit in the head results in the death of... wait for it... BRAIN CELLS!
Also, Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's Syndrome are two different diseases. Parkinson's Syndrome refers specifically to onset caused by artificial means such as trauma, poisoning, etc...
Ali has Parkinson's Syndrome.Comment
