      Will Mundine ever step up?

Typical mundine beat a a MW who he has beat twice before and tells us how great he is.

It makes me sick to hear Mundine call himself a world champ when Joe C is super champ Mundine should be at best #1 contender.

Further more I thought the WBA introduced the whole super champ concept as they claim the super champ would not have been able to meet all of their mondatory defence comitments.

Whats the point in having a super champion as well as a champion if the champion is not going to fight madatory challengers either?

When was the last time Mundine fought a mandatory?
He is running away to MW to get out of the mandatory defence against Kessler! What a joke

Also he said in the local media here recently that he wants to fight Jeff Fenech at a catch weight after Fenech's fight with Nelson. Shame on you Mundine Jeff is a hall of fame figter who boxed below 126lbs his whole career and is now over 41 years of age

Mundine will be wanting to beat up fly weights and pensioners next so he can tell us how good he is.

Hear is some advice Mundine put the genuine skills you have to use fighting quality opposition not pumped up MW's, never will be's, or great has been's
and you will end up with the respect you crave and not be the laughing stock and embarrassment to the sport you are now.

the boos were because soliman was the house fighter, being from melbourne. mundine's based in sydney. a bit of cross town rivalry really (and because Mundine's an absolute wanker). even former world champ danny green, who was introduced to the crowd in the ring before the fight, received a mixed reception (i'm guessing it's because he's from perth?).

for those of you who couldn't watch the fight, it was boring as hell but an accurate result. soliman and his corner have nothing to complain about. mundine is a good fighter, but for the fact that he's not willing to engage. he's tasted big shots and as soon as he fights a heavier handed puncher he'll probably **** himself and shut up shop, try to stay on his feet but lose widely on points as he did against kessler. probably also might be why he's chosen to drop down to middle - thinks there's less chance of being hit hard.

Yeah good call man..its somewhat accurate...**** I wouldint want to be in the ring with Kessler but He done ok...Kessler if you watch him though did have the odd look of concern on his face whilst fighting Mundine cause choc can punch but hey Kessler owned him and I was a Kessler fan from there on in...if choc lasted the distance with kess im sure he could do it with the MW stars if hes lucky enough to fight any...I dont think Lenox Lewis could take one of Pavliks bombs let alone Mundine so he should watch out for sure lol

So I kept on mentioning Ottke and Ult. went up in flames every time. I have never given red k back tho.
Yes ultimate boxer seems harmless enough but does talk the talk and wont prove himself...I would like to know exactly who he is...he is either a minor australian boxing celebrity or commentator/reporter of some kind or a complete phony! I wrote him to ask who he was and although polite wouldint really disclose too much so...
Seems a bit sad he gave you the red mark whatever that is bro...he does need to lighten up if he wont tell us who he is for real though and prove it with...maybe some photos of him and the boxing celebritys he has met exactly...lets hassle him bro lol!!! he is probably avoiding this thread for a reason lol...hope he is telling the truth tho cause he is a nice enough guy...

He only fights easy opponants! The guy is a disgrace and should be banned fromt he sport..its a joke he earns millions in a sport in which he wont even fight the top contenders, he gets faced with an ultimatum and runs to middleweight the ****ing coward.
Most of his opponants are ranked between 45 and 175 on the boxrec world rankings!! What does that tell you!
The guy is a joke and I cant wait till he either retires or fights a real contender. I am guessing the latter will never ever happen so I will have to wait for retirement.
Mate you should get of the drugs with that spelling LOL!!
If you're going to be negative all the time go and get rooted.

true, choc should be careful what he wishes for. maybe he hasn't cottoned on to youtube yet so wouldn't have seen pavlik-miranda or pavlik-taylor I. until last night i actually thought mundine had improved a lot since his fight with green, really stepped up to a dangerous and highly skillful world class fighter. after last night i'm losing my conviction though. mundine should not have been caught like he did, even if it was only a handful of times. some of sam's punches were so wide i saw his missus in the front row swaying.

I think he's a bored poor soul with nothing but Mundine on his mind. He wanted to discuss him and only him. Sometimes (i.e. rarely) he made an insightful post.

He's not avoiding this thread. His ALT has already posted.
