I once met Naseem Hamed in the toilets at Alton Towers. Not that I arranged to meet him there or anything. I was going in for a slash and there he was. I was like "you're..." and he cut me off by saying "you know that". What a prick. I just ignored him. I often wish I had pished on him for that.

I know Evander Holyfield...he is a close friend of the family. My godfather is Milton McCrory (he was the welterweight champ in the later 80s), he fought out of Kronk Gym. I know Manny Steward.

I met Wes Ferguson when I was in Vegas for my godfather's wedding. I have met Cory Spinks....

Ah, yeah...I remember McCrory! Hell of a fighter!

I know a few lesser known fighters, as Gil Reyes, Lenin Arroyo, David Obregon, Bonnie Mann and have met lots more, like De La Hoya, Mayweather Jr., Mayorga a bunch of times, Ebo Elder, Stevie Johnston, Cooney, Shannon Briggs, McCline, Wilfredo Negron, Jose Lopez, Freddie Roach, Angelo Dundee a bunch of times...just to name a few that come to mind.

when i was a kid in the late sixties my granpa got me in to the olympic auditoirium in los angeles to watch local fights.this one famous local fighter, i thought his name was nighttrain johnson. i've gone to boxrec and cant find him. man this dude he was a giant colored gentleman that entered the ring wearing a short black cape that only reached to his waist. he also wore those heavy black rimmed clark kent type glasses.he had a shaved head which seemed far out . i mean this was before kojak. yul brenner is the only one i remember.
now i understand if you don't believe me but they allowed nighttrain to wear his glasses when he fought.not the cape. it didnt matter he beat the hell out of three guys out of the crowd. my granpa told me that challengers got paid by the minute. and this wasnt no wwe. these guys got broked by johnson. none of them got out of the second round.
afterwards we went to international house of pancakes down the street from the olympic. ernie shavers and friends was there. i remember him being with this beautful black lady with bleach blonde hair. my grandpa interduced us. he let me shake his hand!

Breland is a class act. I've never met him but I've always admired him.
