Last week, Tony Morgan, who trains unbeaten welterweight prospect Andre Berto, had an interview with The Ledger and told the paper that Berto's WBC eliminator with "Mikki" Angel Rodriguez of Mexico, scheduled for June 21, would become a title fight for the vacant WBC belt. Hmm... To be honest.. I would like to see floyd fight berto.. I think he'd beat angel... Well he'd probably beat berto too but it would be interesting to watch him fight him... and both are undefeated...
But no one knows berto so it has about 5 percent chance of happening.... Cuz I doubt floyd loves being the wbc welter more than a 10-15 million payday overall with a De La Hoya rematch.Comment
