Margarito vs Cotto Tale of the Tape and some Facts

ok here is my prediction.

On the outside, Cotto's boxing skills will be too much for Margarito. He has a ******* jab hes been using very well lately and his movement/defense with the jab and speed and all that, I think makes him the better outside fighter. Margarito will realize that after being countered with some solid shots and attempt to turn it into a brawl. On the inside, Cotto has faster hands, better balance, and shorter arms. His shots will be getting there first and the body work will go well on Margaritos long body. I see Cotto wearing him down from landing constant solid shots and good body work. If Margarito can weather everything Cotto hits him with and Cotto tires than Cotto is in trouble. Margarito could also land one huge shot and rock Cotto ans finish him. Who knows? Thats why its an interesting fight.

but the way i see it, Cotto is too well rounded. He will stop Margarito in the middle or late rounds in my opinion. Not nut hugging or anything. I gave my reason why i think it will happen and thats honestly what i think.

and what i think is amazing is how so many people keep screaming K.O. for Marg. but Cotto has only hit the Canvas 1 time..in his whole career...And not saying he wasn't stunned but Torres did throw him down..And he has been stunned before but all his opponents that stunned him were K.O'd..so statistically speaking Marg has a good chance to stun Cotto..A Slim Chance to K.O. Cotto..and a big Chance of Getting Stopped Late in The Fight..Just Some FactsThank You..And Good Night!

Good analysis.

I stated before that there are just people who literally hate Cotto (Addison) and don't look at how he's been winning these fights that everyone thought he'd lose. Margarito to me isn't as good a fighter or well rounded as Mosley. I think Cotto will be too much for Margarito. A year ago it could've been a different story, but Cotto is a complete different fighter than he was in June of '07.

Margarito will literally have to use some boxing skills and use his reach to try and throw Cotto off. You can't expect for the bell to ring and both guys just rush each other. Cotto is incredibly patient and waits for his openings. You can talk about Margarito throwing 23,000 punches, but that does **** if he only connects a quarter of the time. If he tries that gameplan on Cotto, he'll get laid out.
