BOSTON – IBF junior welterweight champion Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi (25-1, 5 KOs) was examined today by his hand specialist, Dr. Steven Margles, at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts. The fight is still on, but he could jack it up again quickly against Hatton and become a one handed fighter. So basically his chances would be slim to none to win and the fight would probably have a thousand clinches instead of the usual hundred's that a Hatton fight has.

Hahah, brilliant! His doctor sounds like a quack but I hope he is able to fight Hatton this Autumn, he's going to get beat up bad imo.

What's crazy to me is, is that Paulie said he hurt his hand around the 6th round. His bones must be made of glass because he didn't throw a powerful punch all fight.

After the fight and during the ringside interview Pauli was moving his fingers and hand very freely , when a fighter breaks a hand that Ive seen before first hand a couple of times they are in lots of pain just getting the glove off , seems a little fishy to me .
