    UK fight fans

Is there anybody on this site from the UK that will actually admit that Hatton is the produt of overhyped media. He is only 29 and yet he fights like a 40 yr old. He draining himself for 140 but is to ***** i mean little to handle the real ww at 147. His claim fame was a wrestling match victory over Kosta who hadnt fought in 2 1/2 yrs.

Fights like a 40 year old? He comes at the opponent for 12 rounds, he just hasn't had a lesson on defence since his amatuer days I think. Kostya was the favourite in the fight and hatton has beaten some credible opposition. He just needs to stick to 140.

He is naturally 140 so god knows where you get that from and he really doesn't fight like a 40 year old. Your obviously a bit of a hater.

And i don't even like Hatton

Pre-Tsyzu, hatton was a very exciting fighter, albeit against lesser opposition, and he was and remains the man at 140, with some good wins there. He did enough to get a shot at Mayweather, which no youngish fighter has done in a while, even if his fanbase helped his cause a lot!

I don't know how he was promoted in the States but I don't remember anyone saying he was the best fighter ever to lace up gloves, just a very good one who was and is ruling the 140 division. You can criticise his style, but you can't say he doesn't get results. Perhaps he isn't quite the fighter some thought he was, but at the same time, at his best he could really be excellent.
