    Chico was the Man!

Just finished watching Chico vs Casamayor I on ESPN Classic's Memorial Day Boxing weekend. What a fight, Chico remained dangerous until the final bell. He was truly one of the great punchers of modern times. RIP Chico, the boxing world misses you.

Have a good Memorial Day weekend and a salute to all my fellow Warrior brethren.

Chico was definitely the man. the kind of fighter you embrace no matter if he loses.

kid was awesome to watch. i posted before that he is one of my favorite fighters to watch.

when i showed one of my friends, who mostly is an mma fan, the coralles/castillo fight, he loved it so much that when he found out that chico died he almost cried.

and diego always seemed mature and intelligent in interviews. another thing i liked about him. he spoke the opposite way james toney did.

      yeah, RIP to chico.

I'll never forget Corrales knocking Castillo out and spending his interview time talking about giving money to cancer research

He had balls for sure, I really liked when he was commentating a fight and the guy quit when he acted angry saying "You NEVER quit on your stool" especially knowing how he handled himself in the ring.

what???? no, you can't. or shouldn't at least - if u mean mexico.

i mean, i think americans have claim to americans. was he a citizen of mexico?
i don't know too much history on him although he was a fave of mine to watch.

always had entertaining fights. i don't think i ever rooted against him.

his mom is mexican, his dad is colombian. so i could do a visual tribute to Corrales and put a mexican and american flag in the background and it would be accurate.
