p.s stop shouting, you will wake yourself up
oscar and trinidad cut a **** load of weight to make welterweight whats your point? pretty much everyone does that no need to mention it like its some advantage for one particular fighter. but only joe fights fair and square according to you.

Reason why is because Taylor looked like absoulute **** and imo didn't beat Bernard.

You could have a lot easier time aruging that Joe beat Bernard then you could Taylor beating him.

How can America not give Taylor any credit after he dethroned Hopkins as middleweight king and ending his streak of defences.

Are you trying to say Joke looked great against Hopkins? You do realize he barely won the fight and, unlike Taylor, was put on his ass?

Throughout his career Hopkins used size as one of his biggest weapons. Remember this is a guy who started at LHW, lost, and came back as a MW.

By being very disciplined Bernard was able to get down to MW despite being a natural LHW, which meant he could outmuscle most MWS let alone the welters he made his name defeating. Trinidad, his biggest win, was a ridiculous fight,Trinidad had no chance, he was far too small, same for De La Hoya.

It speaks volumes about this that the Bernard who came into the ring against Joe Calzaghe was the biggest we've ever seen him, close to the cruiser limit in some people's estimation. He was using a tactic he's used many times before in the past.

taylor conducted himself like a gentleman in the ring unlike calzaghe who got mad he got floored and couldn't hit hopkins and threw a sissy fit for 12 rounds. newfound respect for jermain taylor.

Whcih was why he was 5 11' and gave a beating to William Joppy (A middleweight titlist) that no one else has ever done right? Bernard had way superior boxing skills that was way too much for Trinidad to handle.

Trinidad fit perfectly in at middle.

                      edit:

No, but he looked a lot better then Taylor did even if dropped.
