i just have a hrd time beliving that a full blooded moreno puerto rican would tell you that his dark skin came from taino indians. tainos were not dakskined.puerto ricans are very proud of their culture and that makes them very knowledgeable about their history. but in every race you have people that try not to accept what they are because they want to fit into a certain group or were raised differently so i wont say i dont believe you, just that every one in my family and friends would never deny our heritage.
