If owned = being slapped like two year old swinging a fly swatter a handful of times, then that would be true. Unfortunately to be owned, one must feel like they are being punched with something other than a bag full of marshmallows.
lol.. that was funny....

But what about the 'Legend' Hopkins? Who did he ever fight other than Roy Jones and he lost!? The only two good fighters he ever fought were Trinidad and DLH and they're both ****in midgets compared to him.
And RJJ himself? Who did he ever fight? Name me one great fighter he ever fought in his prime - and don't include Toney cos he was so weight drained it don't count!

But instead of just saying that I'm coming up with '****** ass comments' why not come back and tell me someone that B-Hop fought that was in his prime and a real threat during his tenure as middleweight boss? RJJ? Yup, fair enough, but he lost. Trinidad? Great fighter but a natural welterweight. DLH, natural welter again and past his best.
All I'm saying is that Joe Calzaghe's record isn't as badly padded as people say. It was pre Lacey, but now he couldn't have done any more. If he fights RJJ in his next fight though I'll start to lose respect for him, it should be Pavlik, Tarver, Dawson etc...
But to be honest he could unify the belts at LH, cruiser and heavy and you'd still say he's a joke. Cos he's a Brit and you can't stand it when one of us is successful! It's a tad pathetic, frankly.

2. James Toney. Your comment about weight drain is ******ed. I suggest you look at Toney's fights before the Jones fight. He was pretty much doing the same thing every fight (you know the ones like where he KOed Nunn?)
3. Joe's resume is **** compared to RJJ. You should know this if you aren't biased. The original poster may have said it too angrily but the point stands. Please don't tell me that well Eubank was good. Fine, then RJJ gets Mike "the bodysnatcher" Mccalum as a good win too.
I'd point out that RJJ fought EVERYONE other than Dariusz in his division but that would make too much sense. I mean it's not like Joe himself didn't duck and dodge everyone while sitting back and having his fans talk **** about those other fighters. To be fair to Joe, I never once heard him talking **** about those fighters, he was very content where he was, it was the fans and the media clamoring for him to fight them.
4.You watch and see, Joe will want to fight the corpse of RJJ now. We'll see what you have to say after that.
5. As for B-hop, this crap has been done to death. But if you want to go ahead and call people midgets, then I'll point out all the people joe fought that should be washing windows instead, and I'll also point out that plenty of historical middleweight champs fought guys coming up and got full credit for them. And remember Tito was the heavy favorite (remember what he did to Joppy). Also one more name for you: Glen Johnson.
6. I love the UK. I have tons of relatives over there and used to go every summer. So I'm not sure what you're on about. I'm not too fond of your "food" as you so call it. But I think you have very nice people overall, great clubs, and great culture. And the best rock music in the world. I just don't like your boxers in general. Oh and btw, Lennox Lewis? That guy was easily the best fighter you guys every produced (discounting his Canadian amateur training) and a great fighter, and pretty much was never popular in your country. He fought EVERYONE, but you guys were too busy playing up Frank Bruno. So please, go cry a river somewhere else.Last edited by bsrizpac; 05-27-2008, 12:25 PM.

2.) You're the only person on the planet to not believe JT was suffering from losing so much weight that night
3.) You still didn't actually name anyone that RJJ fought. Because he fought no one.
4.) I think you're right and I've already said it's a ridiculous fight that I don't want to see.
5.) You're right, Glen Johnson was a good win.
6.) The food here's great, have you had a roast dinner? Or fish and chips? Beats a burger any day of the week.

1. No it really wasn't. Try harder.
2. No, I'm not. I'm saying that he was weight drained for MANY of his fights. That's just how he operated. Sorry you can't be bothered to look it up.
3. I did actually. James Toney. Also Bernard Hopkins. Mike Mccallum. Vinny Paz. Montell Griffith. Eric Harding. Thulane Maligna. You can put asterisks behind any of those wins, but at least they have names. Joe has Kessler, Lacey, Eubank and Hops. That's about it.
4. Glad you can see that Joe likes to pick on corpses.
5. Yes it was.
6. The food is terrible. Sorry. I've traveled all over the world and England has terrible terrible food overall. I like fish n chips but it's nothing special. "A burger" is not exactly American food. Any country trumpeting "****ers and mash" as a cuisine...well. Either way, you're going to get upset about this, but travel all over Europe first (not even the US) then say that with a straight face. By the way, I am NOT counting Indian food made in England as English food (I Know a lot of brits do this). If I did that, I think it would bring the food quality in England up from really bad to quite good.
