    *Ricky Hatton update!

read a good quote from Dougie fisher at Maxboxing "

Speaking of Hatton, I wholeheartedly agree with you. He’s a slightly more active 140-pound version of John Ruiz

the article goes on saying how the referees in the UK let Hatton secretly digest viagra pills before each match and let him get some man-***** during the fight by humping and hugging his opponent all night long.

Lacazano almost ko UK's finest....Hatton owes his career to the blind and under the tabled paid ref of manchester who allow this **** to take place. And the hatton camp has the balls to say if cortez wasn't the ref, ricky wouldn't have won.......oh what a good laugh....

I dont dislike Ricky, I think he is a chill dude who is a blue collar type. I just think MMA would be a better fit for him. wrong career....as Deniro said hit wasted talent

Why? Minus the sarcasm above, its all fact that the refs in the UK let him fight his fight, while in america it is considered illegal and quite frankly boring in the ruiz-ish fashion.

If I was in the UK, (which I will be next June) and I ran into Hatton at a Pub, Id get drunk with him and laugh my ass off cause he seems like the man.

Also Id be mad too like you are if the only bright spot of my nation in regards to Boxing was Joe C and Ricky Hatton.

i watched the fight at the stadium and then watched this morning on the old telly. BOTH times the fight was very entertaining and had plenty of back and forth action etc. i dont get all this bashing!

I am a hatton fan but he is so getting sparked by a left hook next time he fights someone with decent power..
