Floyd: "Throw me another one of those Ricky Hatton hooks!"

Since the December fight, De La Hoya has signed Hatton to his promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions. Now De La Hoya rules out the fight because "he's a naturally bigger guy in a higher weight class." Isn't that why experts blasted De La Hoya's fight with Steve Forbes? Last year Hatton was a free agent, this year he is the future cash cow of Golden Boy and De La Hoya has to protect his investment. [details]
I REALLY dont think oscar can make 140...not anymore...he's too past his prime...

however im glad to hear he wants a p4p opponent after mayweather...

shows he's going to give the fans a good final fight.

It would actually because Hatton is there to bit and Oscar is quicker than Lazcano so Ricky would get hit clean harder than he ever has , Oscar KO early rounds , he is just too big and has too many skills and power for a walkup small fighter like Hatton , massacre for sure .

Well Technically he does, he is still the recognized WW champ
WBC is just an alphabelt title, anyone that wins that strap will merely just be holding a paper title
i.e. Joe being LHW champ with no official title
