Who's 'home coming' were you most impressed by?

As you well know recently De La Hoya vs. Forbes (light middleweight) took place in California as a thank you to his fans after a SD loss to Mayweather, with a UD for De La Hoya, the score cards are below:

    Judge: Max DeLuca 119-109
    Judge: Marcos Rosales 120-108
    Judge: Marty Sammon 119-109

Hatton vs. Lazcano, 'the home coming' took place in Manchester for the IBO and The Ring light welterweight title. It resulted with a UD for Hatton after a TKO loss by Mayweather. The score cards are below:

    Judge: Marcus McDonnell 120-110
    Judge: Pat Russell 118-110
    Judge: Phil Austin 120-108

This is not to compare De La Hoya's and Hatton's abilities as they are in different weight classes I think that would be unnecessary (regardless of the rumors of a fight between them in the past). These two fight's have a similarity, a thank you to there fans and to boost the fighter's confidence with the intentions for their next bout to be another super fight, (whether it be a rematch with Mayweather or a fight with Malignaggi).

I have read negative feedback from the Hatton vs. lazcano fight, with a majority of people saying Hatton looked sluggish, was close to being knocked out, that he was as much the referee as Foster. I remember reading after the De La Hoya vs. Forbes bout that De La Hoya looked past it, that he doesn't stand a chance with Mayweather with the proposed rematch.

Please specify whether Hatton or De La Hoya's come back impressed you and why! Please take into consideration the quality of the opponent and the entertainment value of the fight. If you haven't watched both, please don't vote.

Both Hatton and De La Hoya put on a good display, cannot distinguish.

Both did what they were supposed to do and didn't look particularly good in the process.

I thought Hatton's performance was more impressive but De La Hoya's may actually prove to be more helpful to what he ultimately hopes to achieve.

As far as an event goes, I think Hatton's was better. 56,000 people went out to watch him.

But I was more impressed with DLH's performance.

DLH looked better than I've seen him in years, Hatton looked worse than I've ever seen him.

That seems to be the case, but will an inferior boxer like Forbes really help with his rematch with Mayweather? Also I personally place Lazcano as better opposition then Forbes.
