That belongs to either Joan Guzman, Floyd Mayweather or Miguel Cotto.

One stays on balance throwing wild swings and being ridiculous.

One is always on balance dictating the pace of fights.

One cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing.

Right now I think it's Gamboa but Floyd from the olympics or at 130 is just as good.

That's a good observation on Cotto. Never thought of it.

            Yeah.

Cotto has better footwork than both Gamboa and Calderon. I'm not trying to be contradictory or anything............it's just clear. He relies on his ability to somehow keep the right distance from everyone before raping them. I've typed it since day one, there's really nobody with that kind of instinctive footwork per say.

            Of course except for Floyd.

I don't agree on Guzman though, I think sometimes his stance is too wide.

He's not a power puncher to begin with.

He needs the wide stance in order to generate the kind of punching power that he'd like to display. Few people can get away with that, obviously why?

They aren't natural athletes like him with Cat like reflexes. He's in the echelon of the Roy Jones Floyd Mayweather discussion.

                  No, you oversell him.

                    I would say Joe Calzaghe.

His good footwork finds him angles to throw them 100 punches/slaps a round.
