Its not biasness, its called hate, the same thing many on these boards have. Its actually the highest form of flattery, because there is no real absolute merit behind it. Floyd hasnt done anything to Merchant to make the hate or biasness valid so therefore in actuality as with all forms of flattery, Merchant is in a sense jealous of Floyd, wishes he could do what Floyd does and admires him, but wont show it in a congratulatory way so therefore whats really in his heart comes out in his interviews.
If you watch after the Hatton fight before Floyd walks over to them, outside the ring stood Stewart, Lampley and Merchant speechless for awhile with sick looks on their faces, they so had hoped and thought Floyd might lose that fight and it was so apparent the dislike they have for him, not so much Lampley though, he is a seasoned, schooled broadcaster who knows youre not supposed to show biasness when broadcasting. I bet it hurts when you blatantly discredit a fighter doing a broadcast and they constantly keep winning and then you have to interview them, funny stuff.
