Joe beat up the Tyson of the lower division in Lacy and Tyson beat up white dudes who were considered next white hopes. No connection and not sure if it makes sense, but there must be a connection there somewhere?

The answer has nothing to do with the calibur of their opponents.

That's not the answer I was looking for. It's how their opponents fight...

They beat the best offered to them during their championship reigns.

They did not share a common opponent either and it has nothing to do with the championship.
