yes Malignaggi was holding on a lot during the championship rounds ... which is why he lost those rounds. Lovemore won a good 4 rounds in the 2nd fight.
how did malinaggi win 8 rounds when he didn't land any significant punches. jabbing running and holding are not the criteria by which a fight is judged. of course paulie is garbage as a fighter, but he is an endangered species in the world of boxing

So did you score Mayweather-Baldomir a draw? 120-120? Mayweather didn't land any significant punches either. He didn't put a lick of power or hurting intent in any punch he threw, so...

No one deserved to go home with a belt after this fight.

He couldn't beat Paulie even though Paulie was blinded for a few rounds by his extensions.

ndou should just retire. hes not the same fighter he was a few years. the ndou that fought cotto, mitchell and witter could have beat paulie imo.

im ball parking how many rounds Paulie won. might have to see the fight again to get back to you on an exact score

and it's not about "significant punching" .. some boxers can land strictly to score, rather then hurt.

i mean **** some people still say Herman Ngoudjo beat Paulie and all Herman was doing some rounds was holding and rabbit punching.

Malignaggi looked very beatable last night, and IMO i think it's more then his lack of punching power/hand injuries.

There's no way I can see Paulie losing 7 rounds. He did enough to keep the title, even if he looked like **** for 90% of the fight.

there are boxers who just cannot accept defeat. but their emotions will die a natural death soon. ndou has the chance to get even at paulie but he too cannot find his punches going. but as he said, its not the end for him. go on ndou, see you soon in the ring

People seem to forget Paulie fought half that fight with a broken hand.

The dude went 12 rounds with Cotto and fought N'dou with a busted up hand for 6 rounds. Give the guy some ****ing credit.

^^^ I agree with this guy and the guy who said that nobody should have went home with a belt after that fight but to a lesser extent.

This guy has got to be F'ing kidding me

He got dominated so bad in the first fight there never should have been a rematch.

Dude didnt win one round and he claims to have gotten robbed.

It may be my biggest dislike about some boxers. The inability to take your loss humble like a man and realize you got your ass handed to you.

Sharmba Mitchell was the worst with that ****.

Either he thought everything was an unfair decision or he could have continued the fight.
