Bowe had a good chin, but would he survive 12 rounds of hard jabs and straight rights from Wlad?
Wlad would win by decision or late stoppage. -
Another match-up I've been thinking about is how would have the Andrew Golota who fought Rid**** Bowe done against Wladimir Klitschko?
Golota really looked great against Bowe, threw 100 punches a round, landed at a ridiculously high percentage, went to the body with combinations (and lower...), could take a solid shot, jabbed and moved well...
The only thing that Golota lacked was of course his mental game but he did get up from the canvas against Bowe in their second fight.

that golota would have beaten wlad, wlad wouldnt be able to take as many flush punches as bowe took he would get ktfo pre-bowe golota winsAnother match-up I've been thinking about is how would have the Andrew Golota who fought Rid**** Bowe done against Wladimir Klitschko?

Bowe was out of shape in the first fight and shot in the second, but I agree that Golota looked good in both. At that time, however, if he couldn't get you out of there within a certain period of time he would panic and his street/fouling instincts would take over. Bowe refused to stay down or give in, and despite being completely outclassed this was all he needed to cause Golota to lose control.Another match-up I've been thinking about is how would have the Andrew Golota who fought Rid**** Bowe done against Wladimir Klitschko?

The ref helped Bowe in the second round of the second fight.
Golota had him seriously hurt, the fight should have been stopped, but the ref came down on Golota for nothing and gave Bowe time to recover.
That ref should be held criminally responsible for letting the fight continue when Bowe was taking a serious beating. Bowe was shot afterwards and didn't fight for many years. I've read that he never mentally recovered.Comment

Wlad has a better jab and defence but Bowe is a much better inside fighter and has a great uppercut. In his prime i would probably favour Bowe mainly because even if wlad was out jabbing him bowe would just turn it into a brawl like he did in the 2nd golota fight but in his prime bowe has the stamina to keep up a good pace something he didnt have in the 2nd golota fight. wlad could hurt bowe with that straight right but even when bowe was hurt he would fight back he had great heart. I see one of those big bowe uppercuts stopping wlad, Wlad cant fight on the inside at all he will try and tie bowe up but bowe is to strong and has to quick hands on the inside for this tactic to be succesfull.Comment

The reason the fight wasnt stopped was because Golota head butted bowe which gave Bowe breathing space, then came back and won the next round then started to beat golota up bad he dropped him in the next round and golota was in real trouble but bowe seemed to run out of gas, there was no point in the fight when bowe was not trying to land something back. even in the 2nd round when he was hurt he was trying to land some counter punches. The ref helped Bowe in the second round of the second fight.
