I dont think hes gonna drop the Mayweather idea so easily though....hes thinking to much like a business man in these last few yrs and that Mayweather pay day will be too much for him to turn down...he probably knows himself that unless he can pull off the fight of his life he wont beat Mayweather...

I personally hope he does go for Paulie then Manny and leave it at that...but i dont think it will happen...

Mayweather to give him his second lost somewhere down the road...

hatton did not come out with the fire you saw against kostya tszyu, because he didn't train with that fire. ask any longtime champion such as calzaghe if he trains hard for guys like manfredo..... **** NO!!!!!!
im sure ricky trained harder than most humans could imagine for tszyu and mayweather, fact is hes too small for 147, and that he probably didnt train hard enough to look unbeatable vs lazcano, just sort of trained hard so he could win 12-0 which isn't a bad thing. im sure he knows he cant eat those punches vs bigger fighters

Are you not even a bit embarrassed advocating for Hatton to fight a guy who has been 2, 3 and 4 divisions lighter than him his entire career?

A guy who has never even fought at lightweight?

In all seriousness, you Mancs can't say "ricky moved up to fight floyd" in one breath and 'ricky should fight pacman" with the next.

              Do you see the hypocrisy?

Hatton can fight whoever he wants but any criticism of him for wanting a rematch with Mayweather is way off the mark.

I think the criticism is from him feeling that beating Lazcano & malignaggi EARNS him a rematch. What he said was that he wants to earn his way back to a rematch by beating L&M.

You got dominated and KO'd. How does beating a retired fighter and a JWW "earn" you a WW title shot?

Moz, in your world, any criticism AT ALL of Hatton is "way off the mark".

Hatton the boxer should forget about mayweather and concentrate on beating the best at 140 and any at 135 who move up. Unfortunately 140 is very weak right now so he's looking at malignaggi and then one of Bradley/torres/holt none of whom will add much to his legacy.

Hatton the businessman will go after mayweather and pacquiao just like mayweather the businessman hasn't fought one 147 contender since he beat baldomir almost 2 years ago. But I'm a boxing fan and I don't really want to see either of those fights, I want him to defend his 140 belt against the top contenders named above.

ive read a lot most things people have said on this thread, some things i agree on some things i dont. firstly you will probably look at my name and think hatton nuthugger lol im a fan yes bt no nuthugger.

for those of you saying hatton is on the slide...did u actually watch the fight last night?? did you hear what the commentators were actually sayin?? to me hatton looked fine for the 12 rounds apart from that moment in round 10 where he looked a little rocked, bt wen he went to his corner he sed to his trainer i get hit everytime i gamble...trainer replies dont f*kin gamble then...wot im tryin to get across is hatton wanted to entertain his fans he wanted to go for the knock out hence put himself in danger. and he wasnt holding lazcano was doing most of the holdin watch the fight again!!

secondly wots the deal with people sayin hatton doesnt dserve a rematch? hatton and mayweather aint ****** its all about the money, who else will get 56,000 to watch a fight, would mayweather?? de la hoya?? cotto?? name me any champion today who would draw a crowd like that?? no one!!!!!!!! mayweather wants to come fight in england because of how strong th £ is at the moment compared to the $ jus think how much money mayweather would make fightin hatton in england. no way would he make money like that against n e 1 else in the world today...and sadly thats wot boxing has come to...money!

hatton got ko by mayweather but the ref had his part to play,i aint sayin hatton is going to win, honestly i think its a win for mayweather on points with ease, but id defo wana see the rematch just to see wot its going to be like with 90,000 fans at wembley stadium

as for witter....those of u thinking he deserves to fight hatton know nothing about boxing. he brings nothing to the table and as some of u rightly said,he has made his living off hattons name, witter is a rubbish boxer and im glad timothy bradley said "he was too focused on hatton and not me"
