Is Paulie vs Hatton PPV worthy?

Do you guys think this fight is good enough to be on ppv. Would you buy it if it were on ppv?

I think it's worth PPV but not 50 or 60 bucks more like 29.99.

Hatton has a sense of humor. He came in with a fatton suit for this fight, it would be hilarious if he came in with this hat for a fight with Paulie:

I honestly think it's worth a hell of a lot less to HBO and Showtime now than it was before today's bouts, - and they passed on the "showcase"

Still, it might end up on PPV as a strategy to get the fighters some of the money that HBO and Showtime wouldn't want to pony up for a regular telecast. There have been some duds shipped to PPV for that reason.

Thing is, the fight will make money even without American TV, so I doubt it's the sole thing on at least Ricky's mind. Maybe DLH uses this fight to continue his relationship with VERSUS or to make friends with Fox Sports or something like that too...

Paulie looked like Lokuashious tonight or Donkquesha.

No. Not any Hatton fight is PPV worthy. His fights are boring and clinchy.. ****... I'll pass.

Kind of agree with you here. It will be a hard sell to HBO and Showtime to PPV it.

It reminds me of the suppose "showcase" card that had Hatton-Urango and Castillo-Ngoudju. It also turned into a dud with lackluster performances that turned Hatton-Castillo into a regular Network fight instead of the PPV.

...at least in that situation, HBO was willing to air the showcase. Both pay cable networks passed on showing the Hatton fight... and didn't even show any boxing in its place, though Showtime had planned to air Miranda-Kessler tonight before it fell through...

HATTON-MALGINAGGI will NOT be a PPV. It will be aired for free on Regular HBO. Reported by ESPN. Check Dan Rafaels notebook
