I don't think so to be honest.
He was hurt because he jumped straight forward into a hook (again). He certainly wasn't going to be doing that while he was hurt, so that wasn't going to happen. At other times when Hatton was hurt, Lazcano teed off on him for 7 or 8 unanswered landed punches, and Hatton didn't go down.
I still think Hatton has a pretty good chin, but it is nullified because he throws the full weight of his body into his momentum when he runs into those check hooks. Not the smartest idea on Hatton's part IMO.
