    The Ref issue...

is it really an issue, or is it more like the Cortez job at Hatton/Mayweather?

Hatton was going to win the fight, and did. Sure, Lazcano caught him flush a couple of times and of course he won a couple of rounds too, but that fight was won convincingly by Ricky Hatton. Do you think Lazcano, as weak as he was, was capable of knocking out Hatton? Personally, I don't think so.

And regarding the comparison to the Mayweather fight... sure, it was bad judging, but you knew who was going to win it, bad judging or not.

It's bull**** ricky was close to being ko'd again but the british cheating ref saved the day. I will rip that video and post it up onto youtube a million times, so everyone can see how ricky was saved. Ricky held like the entire fight but once lacano held the ref jumps in? Cheating ass scum buckets

Calling it 120 - 108 was a joke IMO but hatton did win it and i dont get why people are going on about the 10th.
Like you said he was winning anyway.

Ricky was buckled worse earlier in the fight and came back from it fine. I think at worst he gets knocked down, but not stopped. Total bull**** though (and Im a fan of Hatton.) The ref is supposed to wait for a slow down in the action to do that ****.

He was in Hattons pocket all night and it was so blatant , the same people that bagged Cortez is ok by this ref , what a load of bull**** , that ref interfered more than Cortez and was all over Lazcano and he did it when ever Hatton gestured he needed it , Hatton is very limited so he needs the help I guess .

I don't think either Cortez or this English ref did a good job. They did horrendous jobs, and this one may have costed Lazcano a knockdown.

I don't think they were instrumental in either fight, and in fact take away from the performance of the fighters because they don't need that kind of help.

And I agree, the ref was in Hatton's pocket all night.
