On the contrary. You pick a pedestrian opponent so that you can look like a world-beater again.

    Tony Margarito vs Golden Johnson.

Mayweather destroyed Gatti much worse. And Gatti was able to stop Damgaard in his comeback fight. Now, lazcano is alot more experienced than Damgaard. But TD was a much fresher, more active fighter.

Also cause for concern: malignaggi has looked like **** in a second consecutive fight.

Bradley has never been in that kind of a fight so I don't know. He has a lot of potential and is a more elusive target than Hatton but he is still quite unproven as a fighter.

I think everyone is being a tad bit harsh on hatton here. I do agree he is on the downside of his career, but reguardless he is still a quality fighter and the best in the division. I think lazcano really showed up to fight and did pretty well, the man had not been knocked out in ten years i think that speaks for itself. As for malignaggi, please after what i just saw he really lost me as a fan i thought it was a terrible performance and somewhat of a joke. After tonight i deffinantly do not want to see a hatton mayweather rematch but i do think ricky does have a couple big fights left in him win or lose.

Witter's powerful hooks could put Hatton on his back but I believe his reflexes have diminished at age 34 and he has never dealt well with pressure. He has a punchers chance.

Torres is a fighter who has the power to hurt Hatton in exchanges but he can't take it to the body himself.

Mayweather is not a LWW so he does not count. Malignaggi would lose.
