I think it's because Floyd ranks himself above all other fighters and is actually serious about it. Thats a huge slap in Tyson's face.

That's a good point. Mike knows boxing history better than almost any other fighter. He probably takes exception for Floyd comparing himself to all time greats. Even at his most derranged, Tyson never disrespected past boxing greats.
