I know it's his fighting style, but it's boring as **** to watch. I hope he lets his hands go. He'll NEVER come close to beating a FMJ/COTTO/etc. with as much holding as he does.

I hope he reverts his style to the pre-Tszyu style. I'm not sure if he still has the speed and legs to do what he used to do though.

We'll see. If Ricky is planning to do that against Paulie, it's going to back fire.

if he wrestles he'll win and thats probably what he'll do since his reach is only 65 compared to 72 reach for his opponent. Ricky basically has to wrestle when has a tiny reach like that, if not he'll hit get picked apart from a distance from his opponents jab or even other punches. If he fights close and wrestles then his opponent won't be able to land clean shots or shots with alot of power since there reach is alot longer then his own.

i hope the referee isn't scared to break up clinches after seeing the backlash Joe Cortez got after the Mayweather fight

You don't think Ricky's current fighting style would wear on a smaller Paulie? Surely Paulie lobbies for a bigger ring. I really hope Ricky and Paulie win, that would set up a good fight. Or atleast a good ****talking show leading up to it.

If Ricky has recovered psychologically from his first loss, it will be interesting to see if he has improved his game or if he's been negatively affected by it.

Many fighters have returned to the ring stronger and much improved after major losses.

The question is -- What has Ricky learned from his first loss and what has he been doing to tweek his fighting style to continue winning?

                    We'll see.
