Say Mayweather was to fight Quintana(if Q beats williams) would that satisfy Mayweather haters? Or will we only accept a Mayweather v cotto/margo fight?

I personally think Mayweather should go back down to his natural weight so he will be entertaining again. -
Saying Mayweather will fight any contender on the division is as realistic as to saying Oscar De La Hoya will become champion at 147 again. We need to let May go, he's already done more than most fighters do and call it a career. If you compare his opponents wins and losses and the tittles they had and put those to Cotto's, Calzaghe's or Hatton's opponents you may see the difference. The thing is Mayweather's natural weight is lightweight and he's not as good and a welterweight (but still good enough to be the best at that weight too) so other fighters may look equally impressive at that weight.
Lets think Williams, Quintana, Berto, Hatton (yeah he can and most likely will have to do 147), Cotto, Judah?
Mosley is old, let him go too. Hoya is also old, let him go. Mayweather is also in his 31st year, going old, specially if you consider he is only taking exhibition matches for the most money and doesn't care about the belts.Comment

I think Cotto/Mayweather is "THE" fight. Carlos Quintana is good, is current WBO Welter Weight Champ, but Cotto topped Quintana, and a fight with two undefeated Champions with over 30+ wins....now that is a must!!
