The only decent fighter Margarito has looked good against is Cintron. Paul Williams easily outboxed him. Where was the power then? It will be competitive, Margarito will have his moments but he hasn't performed against anyone in Cotto's class.

both were fought in pr so it makes scince they gave him the loss even though santos was running from tony like most fighters do.....he was ruined never the same i feel bad for him but i feel worse for cotto cause hes smaller and weak chin tony will finally crack it for him.

That being said, this will be a tough tough fight for the both of them. Naturally I want Cotto to win, but I know that the fight will be difficult. One thing that everyone has to admit, is that Cotto has proven himself several times against skilled fighters and he has done so in astonishing fashion (i.e. Judah, Mosley, Quintana). Margarito on the other hand has fallen short when confronted against someone with solid skills (Clottey, Williams, Santos).

Styles make fights and Margarito will be prepared, but I am confident that Cotto will perform as consistent as he has.

. no one is saying margarito is better then cotto skillwise, Cotto his hands down more skilled then Margarito, but u cant blame marg cuz he had NO amateur background, while cotto did... Cotto's height is actually an advantage! Just perfect to get in some body shots, look what he did to quintana. Margarito does not use his jab, so reach wouldnt matter, the only thing margarito may have got on cotto is his chin. Its gonna be one hell of a fight but im telling you, cotto is gonna come out on top.
