Zab Judah-Joshua Clottey Come To Terms For 8/2 Clash

As reported last week, talks were taking place to match Zab Judah (36-5, 25 KOs) and Joshua Clottey (34-2, 20 KOs) on August 2 for the vacant IBF welterweight title. Antonio Margarito, who won the title from Kermit Cintron last month, is vacating the title in order to challenge WBA champion Miguel Cotto on July 26. [details]

I thought shane would fight Clottey not judah...i am a bit surprised.

Clottey is going to send Judah into retirement. i think it will end by tko in the late rounds.

I think its awesome that Zab is going to win a belt. I support Zab but now the Zab v Mosley fight even looks better in the near future if both have a belt or atleast one.

Shane's too old, he doesn't want another ass whoopin and not get paid for it. Thats why he didn't fight Zab and thats why he wants none of Clottey. He'll take anothe L for money, but he wont get enough of that lute losing to Zab or Joshua.

        Wow...

I don't think Zab is very good because of his early gasout/mental problem (whatever you want to call it).

I also think Clottey is really good, and is going to do some big **** in the sport.

But for some reason, I am having trouble seeing how Clottey is going to win this.

That's some weird **** right there.

And that means an HBO welterweight doubleheader. This is a compelling matchup that is crucial to both fighter's careers.

I'm glad we will still see Zab in a quality fight. This should be a very good fight and I will go with Clottey by Decision.

These guys have beef from a while back when one of them "reportedly" ran the other out of the gym. Should be a good bout.
