I look at fighters the same way i look at characters in the movies...
Because to me they both have the same relationship with me....

I watch, they perform...

Now I can dislike some characters, but to Hate them is a bit extreme...

I don't hate him. But as a fan I feel a bit sorry for myself, as he seems to avoid using his prime years to expand his legacy by facing the best available opposition.

Floyd is a great fighter no doubt. I would just like to see him fight better opposition more often.

Well sure. But that's what I meant about fan talk. You can't take it too literally. It's one thing to hate Osama Bin Laden, but if anyone who hasn't met him genuinely hates Floyd Mayweather, they are probably borderline psychotic. Most Red Sox fans would say they "hate" the Yankees. However if they had the chance to be introduced to Derek Jeter they'd be gushing all over him.
