Who is the better boxer, Floyd Mayweather or Joe Calzaghe?

I am a fan of both. With that being said, I believe Mayweather is the better boxer. Technique has a lot to do with a Boxer's style. Mayweather has superior technique to Calzaghe. Also, Mayweather's ring intellegence has shown that he has the ability to manipulate his opponent's position in the ring to be able to take advantage of their mistakes. Mayweather has proven this time and time again. Calzaghe had a chance to prove he was great in this area against Hopkins, but it did not.

Joe is a good boxer but lets stop dissing Mr. P4P Mayweather. As a Boxer Mayweather is far more superior than Joe. The only thing Joe has more than Mayweather is a fan base and by the end of 2009 he will lose that also. Mayweather has maybe 1 guy that will give him a damn good fight thats Cotto. Joe could get beaten by Winky (pay me) Wright, Kelly Pavlik and maybe even Arthur Abraham or Edison Miranda. I just wish Joe and Floyd would fight worthy competition on a constant basis like Manny P and Miguel Cotto.

calzaghe too fast for toney even at toney's best weight. Toney doesn't like fighters who are faster then him, roy jones jr ripped toney a new ******* and so could calzaghe. I know that calzaghe and jones jr have different styles but the style isn't what beat toney, it was the speed that beat toney. He never liked fighting boxers who could fight at faster speeds then himself.
