This is funny. He was obviously just making a joke. Even if he wasn't though, who cares? Jesus, I've never seen a forum with so much ass kissing, and sensitivity in my life. Lighten up you girls. Do you have any idea what peopl efrom other pro sports go through? They wouldn't even know this existed. I'm with a former pro football player right now, and he's howling as I read him this nonsense. You people are weak.Comment

The athlete who was being talked about responded to this thread, which makes your point rather worthless.Last edited by Scott9945; 05-22-2008, 08:38 PM.Comment

This type of stuff happens all the time, ESPECIALLY when a person that is involved in the message board topic is on there posting..I am one of the few, maybe the ONLY, boxer or trainer or manager or promoter etc that uses his name to post. I know why guys dont, too...I have seen a few try to expose themselves and get ridiculed etc etc by the haters as a result....the average professional athlete will not risk subjecting himself to that..I have a lot of free time though so I am all set

I admire that you use your own name because its real and says you stand behind what you say , too many people hide behind a fictitious handle and say all kinds of bull**** they would never say under their own name , many internet boards are full of disrespect because some posters feel big in that nobody knows who they really are so they say all the crap they want .This type of stuff happens all the time, ESPECIALLY when a person that is involved in the message board topic is on there posting..I am one of the few, maybe the ONLY, boxer or trainer or manager or promoter etc that uses his name to post. I think it's true. If you put your name out there, you have to expect to be ridiculed somewhat. Nobody major is on here, because those people have it real. Message board are like a fantasy league. The athletes that didn;t quite make it are here, instead of at VIP parties, television gigs, etc. and the nobodies are here acting like they're interacting with pro athletes. It's harmless.Comment
