I think Campbell will lose his first title(s) defence, unless he goes the route of a Kermit Cintron and defends against cans.

Nate's a solid fighter but he talks too much ****. Since ring magazine was bought by GBP the rankings have not changed to favor any GBP fighter. He thinks he should be on the p4p list now? Get the **** outta here. Where was he before that fight against juan diaz? Now he beat juan diaz and he thinks he's the best lightweight out there. If and when marquez, pac, and guzman all move up they smoke him. If juan diaz fought him again I think he'd beat him. David diaz and Santa Cruz would give him fits as well. All of a sudden nate campbell is the best in the world? I'm not buying that ****.

I hope Nate succeeds but i'd love Juan to get a rematch or better yet Guzman to box those belts away
Technically beating Juan Diaz did make him the man. He's the champion of the division, if not it's biggest star. In boxing, being the champion of the division doesn't always make you it's biggest star.

You mean by fighting undefeated guys like Khan or Peterson? If those guys are cans then yeah Campbell gets through them. Guzman is a tough fight, he will make the older Campbell use his legs and chase him down.

What I love about Nate is that he will back up what he says and is calling for the fights that the public demands. Believe me it's not Nate or Nate's management that refuses to make the fights. Nate is the champion and he is calling all these guys out, unlike the recognized champ at welterweight who is asking for one guy to dominate then that person will have an opportunity to fight him. Nate is keeping it as real and raw as ever and I hope these video segments we are doing portray Nate the way he is. He is showing the public the determination and resolve of a champion. Nate is a genuine person who ultimately fights #1 for the love of the sport and #2 for the fans of boxing. We would all be so lucky if more champions would wear their hearts on their sleeves for the sport of boxing! Again, thank you Nate and company for allowing a personal interview for a day in the life of a champion.

He says a lot of good thing, but he's wrong about the ring magazine...completely wrong. However about Golden Boy and Diaz was right on the money. The Ring would make Campbell fighter of the year though if he beat Casamayor and someone else big. The Ring hasn't become even biased yet.
