Im telling this is stylistic nightmare for Hatton.

A stylistic nightmare for Hatton is a tall southpaw who can punch. Paulie is about as tailor made a guy for Hatton as you can get. Come to think of it he's a good match for any Warren fighter, quite good but no danger whatsoever. Amir Khan should fight him.

i like paulie, but i really don't see him beating ricky. paulie is slick yes, but i don't think hes slick enough to outpoint hatton for a full 12 - hatton is the best of that limited class of fighters that now make up the 140's.

paulie is BY FAR the superior boxer and he's going to prove it in the ring.

His chin is pretty good; especially after the beating he took from cotto...and his heart isnt in question either (a result of fighting on to the final bell).

Hatton does hold and hit; its his big key to victory and if someone like cortez is the referee then ricky hatton will get decisioned EASILY...especially since cortez doesnt allow it at all...he was very strict in the mayweather fight...

with a regular ref paulie will still win a decision it will just be a bit closer...

but so long as paulie keeps himself in the center of the ring sticking and moving hatton is going to look mismatched with someone thats such a pure boxer like paulie...

im not comparing paulie to mayweather in terms of skill but look what happened against mayweather...hatton looked like a 15-0 CONTENDER instead of one of the brits best...he seems to have trouble with the superior boxers and paulie fits into that classification.

Paulie wins via decision, becomes the official 140lb champ; hatton goes home to fish + chips and beer.

You know people usually like Ricky even if they dont like him as a fighter, because he's such a cool guy, but I mean his style is kind of annoying cause he always hugs. However, I have a feeling this fight would bring out the best of Ricky, and I think he'd surprise a lot of people, sort of how Cotto surprised a lot of people by outboxing Mosley instead of mauling him.
