    What if Mayweather vs Cotto never happens?

    Along with so many past possible fights that never happened, there is a real possibility this one never happens. What will YOU talk about then?

    Suggestions:

    Changing the rules of the boxing game altogether;

    Making boxing a sport again, not this WWE ****;

          If Cotto is still undefeated and hasn't been exposed, I'll call Floyd chicken.

            so if cotto loses at this point of his career, that means he was exposed?

              But we have no say in such decisions. Not at all. Me for instance have never paid for any boxing event but gladly pay for the old PRIDE mma events and i am considering endorsing mma DREAM org again (as it's basically the same as PRIDE). Boxing has more to do with stardom than fighting. I love combat sports and also love boxing feel no need to support any of the current fighters including my favorite, Mayweather. The last fighter i felt good about and bought some of his fights was Lewis, Lennox Lewis. Nowadays the game has become so ****ed up. I mean you have fighters coming to p4p top ranks overnight and fighters who accomplished so much more not moving an inch. This **** isn't sports, it's the idols.

                i understand what you're saying, but this hasn't been your opinion on the matter ever since i've posted here. i can specifically quote and link to posts from you justifying why certain fighters don't deserve floyd, justifying and defending floyd's decision to NOT fight certaing fighters and being an advocate for the "Floyd Should Fight Easier Fights For Money" club so im just curious why the change all of a sudden?

                its kinda like you had a near death experience or something and now you have a new outlook on life.

                  I agree with what you're saying though.

                  What other sport in the world gives participants the ability to avoid the best and choose fights based on popularity or potential for greater profit? How does that ensure that quality is a priority?

                    I'd love to see the fight happen. I'm pretty sure everyone knows it will be your typical showing of Floyd putting on a boxing clinic and a somewhat ugly fight, but I'd be willing to pay $55 nonetheless.
