The Heavyweights of the 90's kicked ass

Take a look at who we had back then, and back then any of the top ten could win the Championship at any given moment. But do take a look and some of you wonder why we think the divison sucks ass.
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Lewis
    Bruno
    Moorer
    McCall
    Cooper
    Mercer
    Morrison
    Ruddock
    Golota
    Botha
    Foreman
    Briggs
    Ibeabuchi
    Tua
    God damn we were spoiled.

Too bad that a lot of top fights didn't happen... and when they did, it was far too late.

Saddest thing about it is that many of those guys are still around... Holyfield, Moorer, McCall, Mercer, Morrison, Golota, Briggs, Botha and Tua are all active fighters, some even ranked in the top 20-30.

Today's HW division consists of Wladimir, Peter, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Povetkin and Valuev.

There are some dangerous guys waiting for title shots that will probably never come (Virchis, Gomez) and some decent up and comers who will hopefully make the division more exciting in the future.

It's not in a good state although it has been worse in the past (like a few years ago when we had Rahman, Ruiz, Briggs and Byrd as champions!).
